How does Forte billing work?

Forte bills you for the resources your applications actually use — primarily compute — and includes the app-layer features (user authentication, payments infrastructure, DDoS protection) in that price rather than charging separately for each.

The shape of it

  • Compute scales with traffic. You're charged for what your services and sites consume, not a flat per-seat or per-app fee.
  • Authentication for your users is included in compute pricing — you don't pay a separate per-user auth vendor.
  • Payments are built in, so you charge your users through Forte without a separate Stripe subscription.

Where to see it

Your current usage and invoices are in the console. The full breakdown of what's metered and the rates is on the pricing page.

Teams migrating from AWS and Vercel cut their bill by an average of 82%. If you want an estimate for your workload before you move, the pricing page has a calculator — or contact us and we'll model it with you.
