Use Forte from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code
Connect your AI assistant to your Forte account. It can check deploys, read build logs, request logs and metrics, look up costs, and redeploy, with your permission and only within the projects you choose.
Forte MCP server
Connect your assistant
The first time your assistant uses Forte, your browser opens a Forte sign-in.
Claude
Claude Code
Or install the Forte plugin, which also connects the server and adds Forte's skill.
ChatGPT
Settings → Apps → Advanced settings, turn on developer mode, then create an app with the server URL above.
Codex
The second command signs you in.
Cursor
VS Code
What it can do
- See your projects, services, websites and databases, with their configuration and what's live
- Read deployments and build logs
- Search request logs and application logs, and open a single request
- Read service latency, status code and invocation metrics, and website runtime metrics
- Break down usage and estimated cost by resource for any period
- Deploy the latest commit, redeploy an earlier one, or cancel a build
- Connect a website to a backend service, and change or remove that connection
What it can't do
- Read environment variable values. They come back hidden.
- Create or delete projects, services, websites or databases
- Change environment variables or service settings
- See payment details, change billing settings, or manage your team
You stay in control
- You sign in to Forte and approve the connection on a consent screen. Nothing is shared before that.
- You choose what the app can do, from view-only up to deploys, and can limit it to specific projects.
- Your own role still applies. An app never gets more access than you have.
- Deploys an app starts are labeled with the app's name in your deployment history.
- Disconnect any app under Organization → Connected apps. It stops working within a minute.
