Forte Platforms ("Forte," "we," "us," or "our") operates a compute platform hosting service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform. Forte is currently in early access, and this policy may be updated as the platform evolves.

  • Account Information: When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier.
  • Project and Service Data: Information about the projects and services you create, including configuration, deployment settings, and source code references.
  • Usage and Log Data: Application logs, build logs, deployment history, and platform usage metrics generated by your services.
  • Contact Information: Email addresses or phone numbers provided for account verification or notifications.
  • API Keys and Session Data: Authentication tokens generated for CLI access and session management.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Forte hosting platform.
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • To build, deploy, and monitor your services.
  • To send transactional communications such as verification emails and deployment notifications.
  • To improve the platform and troubleshoot issues.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). We use encrypted connections, secure session management, and access controls to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): Infrastructure hosting, container image storage, build execution, email delivery, and log management.
  • Google: OAuth authentication for account sign-in.
  • GitHub: Source code repository access for building and deploying your services.

These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.

  • With third-party service providers as described above, solely to operate the platform.
